He's a good actor and a nice name with pedigree but he's too old and won't push the TV show audience much.

They're going for al older Hal Jordan who's a mentor to young Stewart.
I'd have liked someone like Oscar Isaac.
If we're going, that old, kukuma give us Tom Cruise. If they really want old, give me Justin Theroux and I'm good. He's old too but dude has good genes and could easily pass off as an early 40s man. Just the exact age range they're actually looking for.

I'd love Aaron Pierre to be John Stewart tho.
