From the Bible teachings, it is understandable that Melchizedek didn't eat the Tithe alone, but with every other person. Here in Nigeria, the Tithe goes to the pastor pocket alone

In Genesis 14 v 18-20, it was recorded that Abraham paid Tithe to Melchizedek. If any believer today is a child of Abraham and claims that the blessings of Abraham is his or hers, then you shouldn’t dispute that paying tithe is actually Biblical and still relevant till tomorrow.

My opinion on tithe.... In the new testament jesus taught us that if your gift is not coming from a cheerful heart God doesn't want it...... Also d widow gave jst a little and God saw her heart, while the rich man gave plenty and his gift was rejected.........

But now you hardly hear, give God your dancing offering.... Na us they spend dis money oh... God doesn't need your money for anything....

The work of God is God's work ... So if you definately give to God's work, you are giving to God.

Yes I did I looked ...and my comment was simply driven by his complaining and guilt tripping his members that they never loved God...
.i just feel it's embarrassing for him as a preacher of cheerful giving to be saying all these........he should accept all that comes into the church purse cheerfully too........and not always come online to comment over everything someone said or did...... Preachers of the scriptures needs to guided in their utterances...pple are already accusing him of trying to raise money by using controversiality as online content

The other video of him I watch...that how he was sounding very weird...claiming he brought most of these tithe collecting tactics, accusing another preacher that doesn't collect tithe of staging miracle in the UK.....

You guys will just go dig an old video and make a post about about it. that video is not recent. in my state, Abel Damina's messages are broadcasted in 5 radio stations and for a time frame of 2 hours each. calculate how much is going into that alone, not to talk of other platforms. he does not collect tithes and he's not begging any one either.

His issue is not just tithe but a lot of other discussions.

Also, I expect him to sell everything he acquired via tithes and give the proceeds to the needy. Jesus told that rich man to do the same.

First of all, the ministries name is power city international unless he has changed the name. I once sent him 10k when I was still in the Christian madness.

By the way, I was talking to someone this morning and he told me pastor Chris's christ embassy usually send stipend to a blind man along the street. Was so happy to hear that but don't know whether it's true or just hearsay. Will try to confirm. If true I'll start sending money to the church regularly. But not because of Jesus but because of the one good thing that has come out of it.

This is so so correct. many of the money people give to churches or during services is not because they love God but because they have been taught and brainwashed that if they don't give to God, then God doesn't know them and they are exposed to the devil's attack. so in essence people were buying God and His mercies. Jesus or God never taught us like this, it is the many men of God who actually brain washed people

Well if you understood what he said here, you will know he is speaking in retrospect

People were giving tithe because they were afraid of God not because they love him, now that he has told them that nothing will happen to them if they don't tithe they stop giving altogether.

Personally I don't believe in Tithing anymore. I give willingly and cheerfully to the things of God

Ask for support for the running of the church, I will give. but command me to give 10% of my earnings and I won't answer you

God loves a cheerful giver and not a fearful giver!

The Bible says bring tithe and offering so that there will be food in the house. But because he want to exonerate himself he started preaching against tithe and offering.
