DANGOTE

PRESS STATEMENT

NNPC YET TO LIFT OUR PETROL

Our attention has been drawn to a headline "NNPC lifts Dangote Petrol, sells at N897 per litre" published in the BusinessDay Newspapers of Wednesday, 4 September 2024.

We would like to state that NNPC has not commenced lifting of refined Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from our Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

Therefore, the issue of fixing the price of petrol lifted from our refinery does not arise, as we are yet to finalize our contract with NNPC.

The PMS market is strictly regulated, which is known to all oil marketers and stakeholders in the sector, hence we can not determine, fix, or influence the product price, which falls under the purview of relevant government authorities.

We urge the public to disregard the headline as it is misleading and does not represent the true position in this matter. We are guaranteeing Nigerians of exceptionally high quality petroleum products that will be readily available all over the country.

Its obvious that Kyari doesnt see this as a matter of emergency

Man is too relaxed. He feels less concerned about the whole scarcity issue

I hope Gbaja visits them over there too.

APC Tinubu na propaganda machine.
Re: NNPC Yet To Lift Our Petrol - Dangote by OkCornel(m):
NNPC, is a corporation of saboteurs and bunglers.

The same corporation that can’t maintain its refineries or distribution pipelines despite over $40 billion (equivalent of two brand new Dangote refineries) spent on maintenance from 1999 till date.

Just bear in mind that this same corrupt and inefficient NNPC is the only local supplier of crude oil to Dangote refinery.

The writing is on the wall. Nigerians are in for a long ride.

Like I told y’all earlier, ignore the propagandists shouting you should sell off your dollars, naira will gain value bla bla bla. Wait for a few months before making any moves.

What Tinubu is planning is not yet even sure. The man is truly a calamity. Even Buhari with his clueless attitude is not as worse as this. From day one, no peace of mind from this very wicked man. From enormous tax to hike in electricity tariff to petrol increment. This man it true definition of eleriibu.

FG knows what it's doing. Dangote will be fronted now as the the cause of the current rise of prices then still claim financial obligations to other partners. Why is NNPCL claiming 'broke' and why do international media care all of a sudden on Dangote's matter huh
