Lagos ports is powered by South West economy, most of the goods from Lagos ports supply South west markets, so unless South west economy collapse Lagos port will always stand gidigba.

My vessel sailed to onne months ago. We were very shocked to see a very standard, beautiful terminal lying fallow. Not much vessel activity! But sail to apapa and tin can and other ports in Lagos...not much space remaining for awaiting vessels at anchorage! It's been so for years. And you think Govts is ignorance about this! You think they don't know what they be doing?!
