The people voted against him (especially in Lagos) and the bashing was brutal with all the intimidation, threats and disenfranchising of an entire region not to come out and vote, even after Padding the results and claiming victory in conjunction with inec and the judiciary allegedly, fear no let even celebrate because the thievery was it obvious.

The current hardship and stubborn ego towards the people is a payback to punish them for voting against him, yes, after using thugs to beat up people to stop them from voting, the results was overwhelmingly loud.
