Emotions apart, they voted him for his capacity and ability to turn things around but whether it will inflict much pains or not on people is another thing.

Nigerians has records for voting based on capacity of what the candidate has done in the past. So don't be surprised if Tinubu win in 2027 again ).

Obj was voted because he was seeing as an honest military leader that handed power to civilians in 1979,

Yaradua was voted for what he did in katsina and what Thier family represents.

Jonathan was voted because he was not greedy and handed power back to his boss then in bayelsa.

Buhari was voted because of his 1983 )idi agbon strict policies and discipline.

Tinubu was voted for his always fighting to achieve difficult results both the military era and civilian era and Lagos progressive results.

Even others that did not win has what was checked on them by the electorate.

We don’t really care if you vote for Tinubu. Nobody coming after him will reintroduce fuel subsidies or unfloat the Naira because they know it is for the good of the country.

These are 2 of the 3 things that have stunted our growth for decades. The 3rd is resource control and fiscal autonomy. I hope he is able to acheive that.

Like it or not Tinubu has done Nigeria a great favour but people with low IQ and understanding will not understand.

I don't know why everybody wants to blame Tinubu for everything that happens now and then. NNPC is so corrupt and nobody is talking about it.

I don’t care who they blame. My problem is the people who don’t seem to know that there simply is no money for subsidies. They were the same people criticizing NNPC for owing suppliers $6b. Don’t they realize that the debt is incurred because we are selling petrol below its production costs.

He does need anybody's votes because he controls INEC and the supreme court, only democratic way to remove him is protests and impeachment. Although impeachment won't be easy since he also has total control of NAss. However if the people could apply enough pressure on their NAss lawmakers and state governors, we could get NAss to do the people's will.

I do not accept this one tiny bit, and think it is irresponsible and stupid. Not you, mind, but the sentiment you've expressed. The easiest way for me to manipulate an election is to convince the opposition not to bother voting, while I pay my supporters to vote or die.

Trump stupidly did the opposite at the last election by convincing his supporters not to vote by post while Biden convinced his supporters to vote or die. And we all can see for ourselves who is in the White House and who has been wailing the last 4 years.

People should vote and lets see Inec manipulate and the court seal it instead of not bothering and then stupidly protesting. We'd have something concrete to protest if we voted and Inec then manipulated, but nothing to protest if we can't be bothered to vote.
