BadInflunece:The phone is an MDM (Mobile Device Management) locked phone which does not raise any cause for alarm since you bought from a trusted source. Your source might not know of the status of the phone if he is not privy to this kind of information. Most of these devices are usually retrieved from resigned or staff with contract terminated with thier employers and sold off. Take for instance someone works with MTN and given a company phone with MDM on it as a work phone, once he resigns or contract terminated, the devices is retrieved and company details taken off it and sold off, most of the times the phones are not recycled amongst employees. The MDM can be bypassed and used as a normal but you will be advised not to factory reset or update the IOS/security of the phone as these may reset the phone back to the MDM locked status. Quote me if you need help doing this. Cost might defer depending on the security patch of the phone. |

Qtsnow:Please gimme your whatsapp number. Where in Nigeria are you? I would have taken the phone back to him but I observed a month later. I doubt his ability to pay back the 300k. If it can be bypassed, all good then. But to not update the phone? Well, I can leave with that |

Goodnewsforlife:Stop arguing. The entire phone will be flashed.. it's not ur normal flashing. There's a special app for it.... The app the company uses in controlling it will.ne erased.. I don't know how else I'll explain to you. Let me ask you, what is the company using to control the phone if it's not an app? So when that app is removed from the phone..and a new UI software uploaded on it. Now think 🤔 |

There are things you need to know about the phone before you unlock it. You can render the phone useless, if you fail to do it correctly. Samsung Knox can not be easily compromised. DM me for details or depending on your location, I could direct you to someone that can do it. |

Qtsnow:This is what happened to my MacBook. Brand new MacBook I bought from a shop in ikeja. When I rang the seller to inform him of what the MacBook was displaying, he suggested I dismiss the MDM notification and use it, as it is no cause for alarm. I used it like that for 2 years with several updates until OS Sonoma came out, immediately I updated to Sonoma, it locked me out. I tried everything to get in but it still didn’t work. I left the MacBook idle for several months thinking of buying a new one after several searches online to get it to unlock. Mind you, it wasn’t the organization that locked it, OS Sonoma didn’t support Mac devices bypassing MDM authorization. It was one beautiful day I came across a guy on Reddit, following through the steps he listed, I was able to bypass the MDM by downgrading to a previous OS, run a script to get in and then reupdate to Sonoma. My MacBook came back to life. I’m still using it, 2019 Core i7, 32gig ram. I don’t think I want to change it in the next 5 years. OP, don’t panic. Ignore those calling you names. MDM can be easily bypassed. Provided you know the store you bought the phone from and you have your receipt. Or you could as well just return it and ask for a refund or replacement. |
