I recently landed a freelance gig with a tight deadline to deliver the next day. I worked on the project all day, but around 11 PM, I ran out of units on my home prepaid meter.

Despite trying every available option I could think of, I couldn't make the payment that night as none of them were working.

I tried to pay for a Facebook ad. I spent a whole night preparing the content and targeting metric based on the date I was to hold an online event.

Just when I finished and was about to pay, my bank refused to send OTP for a whole day. The disappointment however became a blessing as I eventually had a new strong reason to cancel ✖️❌ the event.

I believe that this your case too is a disappointment turning to a blessing. So, don't take it to heart.

Needed to subscribe to a service from an Egyptian company.

Only way to pay was via PayPal or crypto..

As FG don ban crypto, I can't even remember how I went about the payment, but it took me a week to figure something.

I tried to purchase data on one app only for it to be processing for hours, had to be texting customer care up and down

This was me some months back,Nigeria is really becoming more stressful.But I came across on new Motobill app,I saw a lot of good comments,don’t know if it’s available on playstore tho

I had s similar experience with my Prepaid meter though, trying to recharge so I could get the light back on and it took me 4 days to do so. Had to meet one of my neighbors working at EEDC

Omo the experience plenty ooh
From data subscription to Light subscription to even Cable subscription
Who knows how much I've lost in the process because for the prepaid meter, I had to buy codes like 3 times and all was rejected

Let me do case 1-3

Case 1: In times past, I bought data with my Airtel number, I think I paid N500 for the data. I was debited from my bank, no data was credited. I called Airtel customer care they assured me no transaction was made, I called My bank, they said it was successful. Like play like play, na so that money takes go till today. Vanished into the thin air

Case 2

I remember a time when I went to buy something from a supermarket. I don buy finish, stand for queue pay. I was debited but the credit no gree enter the shop account 😔. Omoooooohhhh I stood there for a long time. I had to return what I bought(which is a very serious necessity) in shame and go home. I think that money later went through after midnight. You can imagine the stress I'll go through trying to go back and claim what I bought

Last but not the least was buying airtime again AIRTEL 😭😭🤣🤣.

Debited but my line not credited. Airtel will claim that no transaction was made on my line but I was debited from the bank.

So where the hell did my money go??

Long story cut short, I've broken that Airtel Simcard. Abeg I can't deal again with them
