UKvi administrative review will teach you patience if u don't have ...... not to scare u ooo...i have seen AR that took 10months

But hope the AR team has responded shaa, and u won?

And hope ur sponsor doesn't have any issue with his license ...that another thing that can cause delay??

I just received the email below and i understood i have paid incorrect fees for both main applicant and the dependant.

My question is should if i withdraw the application ,do i need to wait for the to refund the money already paid before i can submit another application with correct payment?
or should i contact them to pay the balance fee.

Did they give u option of paying balance?? Don't get me wrong I am not saying u should not email them to ask....make sure u factor in their time of responding to emails or calls and the time they gave you to withdraw ur application....

But From what u posted ....the option they gave you is to withdraw ur application on ur own and reapply......usually, the reason for this is so that u don't get a refusal history on ur name, which would have happened if they had refused the application for applying for the wrong thing

As per u hoping for a refund for ur application fee...they may or may not refund you......the problem is ur application has been attended to by a case worker and the fault is from you.....I'm afraid the odds u will get a refund is stacked up against you

However, if health insurance charge is also part of ur payment...u will 100% get that back...

No option of paying the balance which i think should be best option..

Please did you suggest i should email them to ask if i can pay the balance?

You people should stop this nah, the people you know, are they working as a nurse or HCA? How can someone just finished from nursing school, no IELTS, No CBT and NMC Nigeria didn't verify them and they are working in Scotland? Oga take it easy on people nah, get your facts right before you may end up misleading people here.
NMC portal is locked now, meaning that NMC can't verify anyone and your countries NMC must verify you before you can work abroad, because that is the country u acquired your nursing certificate.

Where in my reply did I say someone who finished nursing school DOES NOT have to pass IELTS, CBT, or get verified by NMCN? Did you see any of those in my response? Even a university graduate with a BSc in Nursing and Midwifery will have to pass through all those before getting a job in the UK.

The question is, can a registered nurse from a nursing school get a job in the UK? The answer is YES.

Can they get it now? Probably not if they've not been verified.

And for your info, the people I mentioned work with the NHS as nurses as I am sure you are aware, the verification issue started Dec last year, and people have been getting jobs way before that.

When replying people here, always be detailed so many won't be misled. The person might think they will just come to the UK immediately after their nursing school like you mentioned. Just explain to them very well so it can be clear. People who are verified before the portal closed still get Jobs I know that one for sure, but is no big deal. Have a wonderful day.
