RIP Gazzuz

Its been a while i visited nairaland and i decided to visit today and check the auto section and boom! I see RIP GAZZUZZ!
MY heart raced and i felt a cold sensation while processing this news. I feel terribly sad on his demise.

I was privileged to meet gazzuzz a few times some years back. We met through a group chat then before we became friends and met in person.
We had drinks together whenever we met at ogba or Ikeja and i remember how he always buy shawama to bribe his "madam" as he fondly calls his wife when we stayed out late and she starts calling.

He was very kind and one of the most honest person I met in my life. He helped me financially whenever i told him i was broke "oya send aza sharp sharp" as he will say. He gave me great advice and offered to change the engine of my 406 for free when the engine knocked and fix my car for free whenever it developed issues.
I was looking forward to seeing him when next I come to Nigeria but hearing about his death was a big blow to me.

He was fearless and adventurous and a very good driver. He can drive and travel at anytime. I was once texting him and he told me he was driving and texting coming from Jos I think to lagos. I told him to be careful driving at such high speed and chatting on phone. I never knew accident would claim his life one day even though i learnt he didn't drive but had the accident when he took a public bus back to lagos after he delivered a vehicle out of lagos to a client.
He fought for his life but later succumbed to his injuries sadly.

God knows best and it was a great honor and privilege to meet gazzuzz in person and i wish i spent more time with him. May God grant his family the strength to bear his demise.

Guys I am.back from.suspension . The reason why I brought Gazzuz death to our notice is cos Gazzuz have touched the lives of many of us ...directly or indirectly ...we shall remain grateful to him for that .The issue of live and death is divine...only God had the final say on that. No one should blame the dead cos when is ones time .....one can't escape it.Thats why they say death is inevitable .Let iis please respect the memories we shared with Gazzuz while he was with us ....
No one is perfect ...only God can judge . A certain friend of mine was in his house when an Europlane crashed on top of there house and he died ....Death can meet us anywhere ....Let's not blame the dead. Continue to rest our dear Gazzuz

Back in 2018, I was going through one of the darkest times in my life—nothing was working out for me, financially or emotionally. Then I came across a free mechanic training offer by Gazzuzz. He announced he would train one person at no cost, and although many people applied via email, I was fortunate enough to be selected.

When I met him, he interviewed me, and I believe he saw that I wasn’t a complete novice. Despite my background as a former banker, vehicle repair had always been a deep passion of mine. I ended up spending nearly a year in his workshop, soaking up knowledge and learning directly from his wealth of experience.

Eventually, an opportunity came for me to leave the country, but by then, I had gained everything I needed to build a solid foundation in the automotive industry. Gazzuzz gave me that knowledge—freely—and it has given me a strong edge over my peers, both at home and abroad.

Thank you, Gazzuzz, for believing in me and for being such an important part of my journey. I will forever be grateful. You will always be missed, and you’ll always have a special place in my heart.

That man gave me all the knowledge I needed to be a mechanic for free and I'm glad that the knowledge has given me all the edges I needed to be ahead of my pairs in the automotive industry home and abroad. Thank you Gazzuzz for everything you were to me in particular. I will always be grateful. And you will be greatly missed. I love you my boss

I met Gazzuzz once. Had the pleasure of visiting his workshop. What a day it was. In the end, I recall he paid for my Uber ride back, despite my pleas to him not to. I am pained.

For us left down here, please make peace with Jesus. Salvation is free.

This make me feel so bad this morning ...we've never met but we run mouth and rub minds together here on nairaland...MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN Perfect PEACE.

so sad,few months back, he had gone to deliver a vehicle to a client. After delivery, he boarded a bus back to his place.

Unfortunately, the vehicle he boarded had a severe accident. The bus somersaulted a number of times.

He was rushed to the hospital with many injuries but majorly his spinal cord was also affected.

He underwent a couple of surgeries but he eventually succumbed to his wounds.

RIP number 1 Motorhead, Gazzuz.

Driving is a a very unforgiving task..You fit drive for 40 years, and just one error in your 41st year and you fit die troway

in fact if you no do error, another person fit do error come kpai u..

Driving isn't by who is this or who is that..the days wey you drive go come safely, you are a good driver at those times..d day you no come back while driving, driving has shown you that no one on earth is a perfect driver.

Rest in peace gazzuz!!!..smartest mech I've met, very honest and kind. Fixed my ride a number of times without taking a dime. I can vividly remember when I came to his workshop at awe street 3yrs ago and saw this sharp toks camry, and I was like "this car is sharp oh" his response was " take it for a spin if u like it, buy it". Long story short, I ended up driving away with that car and paid for it later, he even gave me his dealer plate number to use until I was done with registration. Rest on auto guru.

We Will all be gone one day, and I am sure we will not like people making baseless assumptions about our exit when we will not be there to defend ourselves.

This is sad news. He was a good man. I trusted him with all my car repairs because he knew his stuff from back to front. I would even take my parents cars to him all the way from the Island. May the Almighty give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
