Isau Ogunkunle has won Team Nigeria's 5th medal, this time a bronze medal in the men's single Para Table Tennis event in Paris.

Ogunkunle showed outstanding class by defeating heavyweight, Türkiye's Ozturk Abdullah and home boy, Thomas Maxime from France.

He lost 1-3 (11-9, 5-11, 4-11, 11-13) to Korea's Kim Young-gun to finish with one of the two Bronze medals.

Recall that the 38-year old also claimed Bronze in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
