AFCON 2024 qualifier: We will beat Super Eagles again

Benin Republic forward, Junior Olaitan is confident they can beat the Super Eagles again, DAILY POST reports.


The Cheetahs defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 in their previous meeting in June.

Gernot Rohr’s men will be up against the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.


Olaitan said the Cheetahs will draw inspiration for their recent win against Nigeria.

“The team’s aim is to get the three maximum points in Nigeria. There is no doubt that it will be a tough game but we are prepared for what the Super Eagles will throw at us,” he told BSN Sports.
