Happy Sunday my fellow nairalanders. I wish to seek diverse input in remodeling this house below and will appreciate ideas.

Originally a 3 bedroom, the Master bedroom (ensuite) at the lower left was sealed from the living room area and let out. The rest of the house has been empty for a while.

I plan to refurbish house and rent it all out but I am searching for the best way to optimize the design.

My thinking is to seal off the private sitting and join it to the let out room to form a room and parlour and then rent out the other side as a 2 bedroom apartment.

Additional ideas will be appreciated.

Nairaland isn't where to get professional building advice. Instead of posting your house plan on social media, talk to a civil engineer or an architect and PAY them for their service.🙄

House design is even more technical than material pricing. You know very well that you don't have an architect or civil engineer, otherwise, you wouldn't be asking this question here. It's like asking the public for medical advice instead of speaking to a doctor...
