The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued an alert to Nigerians regarding the activities of a faith-based organization, Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

The agency claims the ministry is using its (NAFDAC) name to mislead and deceive the public.

In a statement released on Sunday, NAFDAC’s Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, emphasised that none of the products being advertised and sold by the organization are registered with the agency.

It's not only pastor Jeremiah's that's selling miracle products in the country,NAFDAC has no business in this one, they should concentrate on ensuring safe food and drugs consumed by Nigerians

Matter of fact, over 10m was made from selling these products today alone

It is understandable for adherents to use some of these items of worship to boost their faith, but such items shouldn't be commercialised.

More importantly, the laws of the land must not be violated.
