For the 2024–2025 academic year, the Kano State government has delayed the start date of elementary and post-primary education.
Remember that September 9, 2024, was the date on which the government had previously announced that classes would resume?
However, in a different statement made public on Saturday, the Ministry of Education's Director of Public Enlightenment, Balarabe Kiru, cited Umar Doguwa, the Commissioner of Education, to explain why the restart date was postponed due to pressing circumstances.
