A School Proprietress Of His Majesty Group of Schools In Sapele, Delta State, Mrs Fatima Umukoro, has allegedly been murdered by her 25Years Old Son, Emmanuel Umukoro.

The deceased was the wife of Rev Prince Umukoro, the resident pastor of Victory Family Assembly Int'l (VIFA) and a well-known figure in Sapele.

It was gathered that Emmanuel has been struggling with mental health due to substance abuse.

Despite undergoing rehabilitation, his struggle with drug addiction persisted, leading to subsequent unpredicted violent outbursts.

Trouble was said to have started yesterday, Saturday the 6th day of September 2024, with no one at home, Emmanuel was said to have attacked his mother with a brand new axe and after killing her, dragged her body outside and set it ablaze.

It was learnt that the tragic incident, which occurred in the late hours of the night, has left the neighbours in a state of shock and bewilderment.

Some of the neighbors who spoke on condition of anonymity, described the scene as gruesome and horrific.

According to eyewitnesses, the gate of the Umukoro residence was left open around 10 pm, which was unusual. This prompted neighbours and passersby to check on the situation.

“Only to discover fire coming from inside the house with the door left open. Upon entering the house, they found the lifeless body of Mrs. Umukoro, burnt beyond recognition.

“We saw her son, Emmanuel Umukoro driving out of the compound around 8:30 pm at a high speed in his mother’s car”

The Neighbours said that the suspicious movement of the son, led to his apprehension by the police along Sapele-Warri Road as he (Son) attempted to escape to an unknown destination.

When Contacted, The Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State, SP Bright Edafe on Sunday confirmed the incident

He Said, “The Son is in police custody now but cannot say whether he’s the one that killed her until investigation is concluded”

👆👆👆 Any person with a sign of mental problems supposed to be taken to psychiatric hospital. Let him/her stay there; don't keep them at home. Don't stay with them in the same house. It is too risky.

Avoid hard drugs. Those of you that support people that sell drugs, I hope you can see the implications.

I don't know whether to blame the aftermath of Buhari government or Tinubulation. I can blame the way our youths experiment with drugs these days like they are chemist like Walter White.

I think It's high time every state governors should start having rehabilitation centers in their state, the number of rehab. Centers should at least be half of number of local government that exist within the state.
It's not getting funny anymore, the economy ain't smiling any longer, more people will venture into drugs thinking it's going to pull them out of their depressive state, and that shii will mess them up big time coz they are getting more addictive every day by day..

That's how they always look. Psychos. Reminds me of one too back in Benin. He was disturbing me back in the days with unwanted attention crashing in on me at my favourite spots just to buy me unwanted beers because he wanted me to initiate him into confra. I wasn't sure of his admission status even though he was always around campus and I didn't like his mind so I always put him on pending with different stories. His first story to catch my attention was betraying his elder brothers who were my friends since secondary school even though we were on opposing sects of same university, we were still cool. This small boy came to leak secret when shock me sef about how his brothers give out their cars for hits. And even mentioned hits that I could trace that he's not even supposed to know and the cars that were actually used. Na there and then I know say this one na bastard. Ur own senior bro's? I rejected him sha and he later went to join Aye where his senior bro's he betrayed belong so he was doing everything within his power to silence me due to fear I might have or will say something to them. Me when no send person, but before his moves i get informed cos of who i was despite my colour. One time in the holidays back home and during an argument he threatened to kill me and even described it lol other men there were furious but I was just calm cos I knew what was his plans. Even the older Ayes there were visibly mad. They brought him to the gates of my family house next day and he was on his belly like a snake that he was and was being drilled with so many 2 by 4 plank while he was begging and being disgraced... I came there stood over him and just smiled so he can see that it's because of me his own men are doing it. Yes that's how my neighbourhood in Benin was back in the days we look out for each other when at home all bs stops in school, but i heard it not so much so anymore. After I graduated and left the state I later heard he's gone crazy and he killed his own mother by setting her ablaze just like this guy. I swear him resemble that guy up there. Same mean face and build. He loves to gym too. He was taken to a mental institution for a long time but I heard recently he's married and living a normal life in Benin. I wonder how many people he has killed lol. A lot of crazy people are roaming free. Be careful out there
