1. They occupy some position of authority in the ruling party within their constituency.
2. The opposition targets them for a 'buy-over' and to 'weaken' the ruling party.
3. They name and receive their 'immediate', usually Financial-boosting, honorarium and await the 'balance' when the now opposition wins.
4. They suddenly become disgruntled with the system they've hitherto benefited from and resign from the ruling party.

If PDP win Olumide will decamp to PDP, he might be given an appointment or given a slot to run for rep, he knows he stand no chance with PDP and APC in contest, baba just won increase his political profile
