The arrest of President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Mr. Joe Ajaero by the Department of State Services (DSS) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja has sparked a lot of discuss across the media space. Although the secret police did well this time, I wish they continue to respect the rule of law by promptly parading people to court on time.

What the DSS did was a display of professionalism. in fact, if they (the DSS) had allowed Ajaero to escape, they would have been unprofessional in discharging their duty. recall that he also failed to honor the Police invitation until the IGP issued arrest warrant. No country can condone this act of disrespect. Ajaero should respect himself.

See eh, we have a foundamental problem in this country, the citizen are angry with president Tinubu because of his economic policy, therefore every acrion of govt forces will be used againt the president. But me personally I do not see problem with arresting anybody as long as he/she will be given fair hearing.
