You now see with your eyes the sufferings that the children of the Niger Delta are facing. I've lived in Effurun, ugbomro-iterigbi axis for some time and I can say that this country is doing a disservice to those who produce 80% of its wealth. This will be my fight if I become the President.

I Just had to see it from that Angle.

Oil Rice, Kpokpogari, 3days Akpu and Soup etc, with little Assorted meals should definitely have Influence on a child's IQ.

But there are some Adults that grew up in Villages but grew up to become Doctors, Bankers, Professors, etc.

Former Gov James Ibori for instance grew up as a Village Boy in OGhara Community in Delta State but went on to Study economics in UNIBEN.

In this case it’s not the food, because those kids are very smart at other things if you care to check. I mean other things that the school of life will demand. Speaking English is not intelligence.
The environment there is the main cause of concern. Not the food.
You’re more likely to churn out better engineers from that locality than professors of semantics and huge vocabularies.

So you really think processed foods like corn flakes noddles,etc are better than natural foods like rice,palm oil and bongs fish,your observations is based on emotional sentiments not actual science fact,the problem with those kids is not nutrition or genetically inherited,the environment you grow up moulds you to what you will be,take that dull kid and give him to an oga in onitsha for a 7 year business apprenticeship in a market full of smart boys and see what he will become

Nope, I do not agree. I've seen kids eating well balanced meal perform woefully and there are kids that just eat to get a filled stomach, they perform excellently. There are other factors aside food abeg.

environment is a very big factor when it comes to one's intelligence.
though environment in this sense includes where you live, the people you meet and associate with or the type of things you come in contact with, like the kind of book you read, the kind of music you listen to , the money you have and things like that.

A deficiency in say iodine can turn someone to an slowpoke and etc. Therefore food is important too
