Yep. Many of the major regions are excluded. All the viewership numbers you see for HBO are for the US.

Max or HBOMax have one of the highest subscription fees amongst the streaming services. But they do have the ads-lite tier that's cheaper than the standard plan for $10 in the US.
The pricing may vary depending on the region but these services charge the highest in the US.
Premium plan for Max is $21 compared to $23 for Netflix. These two have the highest prices amongst the streamers.


Africa here don't even pay half of what US subscribers pay. For Netflix we pay #7000 now for the highest sub, in the US, that's like #25,000-29,000 a month for the premium subs. That's around the price people pay for DStv top prices and still dey halla.

Just saw this now 👇🏽...seems David Zaslav just announced a renewed expansion plan. 2026 will be a big year for them as they'll probably use the Harry Potter series as a flagship launch pad for marketing and global availability.

By the way, the actor playing sauron in the rings of power is very good at his role.
His facial expressions can even deceive you as someone watching if you are not careful, lol
The way he talks slowly, changes his facial expressions, the way he looks at you, tells he is innocent and yet if you look further, you will see darkness in his eyes.

The guy has embodied the role of deceit so well.

Every other character did well except Galadriel. I wish they could swap the Galadriel character for the lady that played the leader of the elves in The Witcher.

The orcs were his armies then but after they won the first war and he was about to be crowned the king of Mordor he was killed with the same crown he was suppose to wear by Adar. The orcs love Adar and they respect him very much but from my own point of view Ardar might be an orc but he's not evil like Sauron. Ardar's own is to find a resting place for his children (orcs) a place where they could call home not conquering the world and defeating humans.
Unlike Sauron, Ardar has no magic and the orcs knew that while Ardar treats them like children Sauron is a monster and they understand him coming back will spell doom for them cuz He'll kill Ardar for revenge and almost all of them cuz they all conspire with Adar to kill him.
In short both the father and his children dreaded his return and they knew the elf also want him dead.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Adar, the orcs, and Sauron were all fighting for Morgoth. After Morgoth fell, Sauron was obviously supposed to be in charge, but he was betrayed by the orcs (probably because they feared him or because what he mentioned in his speech), so the responsibility fell on Adar.
Once they are certain Sauron is out of the way, they'll definitely turn on everyone else, there's no such thing as resting place for the orcs

I must say that you have got a good eye for perfect cast selection.
The lady would have been the perfect face as galadriel.
I wonder why they had to choose someone with a naturally angry face for the role.

The role atleast needed a beautiful woman to play it.

👀👀 forgettable story is not the same as story you forgot. I also remember every plotline from Arcane's story.

True!!! I don't know but there is something dark about galadriel.
I don't know if they will fully follow the book somehow i feel galadriel might turn out to be the bride of sauron.
This is why i am eager to see the future of this project.
