Many thanks to Enugu residents who saw through Chijioke Edeoga and knew he had nothing to offer. We voted for governor Mbah even though we also voted Lp in other elections.

If this plantation is well managed and necessary funds injected to keep procuring seedlings, inputs and carrying out maintenance when due, generations of Enugu indigenes unborn will thank God Mbah for this move.

Even most part of independent layout is not covered not to talk about the sprouting parts of emene, Abakpa , Ugwuanyi etc. I bet you less than 30% of enugu metropolis is covered and that is one of his failures after promising six months, thought that is not to say that the governor is not trying but he needs to be called out in areas he fail.

This is what i expected a state like Imo to lead on....oil palm production! But alas, they've been governed by a succession of visionless clowns in the last 13+ years....with a brief respite during the few months Ihedioha was on seat! Dr M I Okpara set up huge palm plantations in present day Imo, Rivers and i think Abia states more than 5 decades ago, and you'd have expected that by now this would have been built on and expanded by the present crop of leaders we have!

Not all Abakpa has water , infact more than 50% of Abakpa don't have water talk more of other Nike areas. Someone called on radio from independence layout and I am talking about a senior citizen of this state to say that he buys water from tankers.
I am not even talking about trans ekulu , emene, ugwuaji, monarch , Maryland, top land, coal camp etc. It is like you don't know the size of Enugu by saying that there is water in 70% of the city , the areas that have water are still those areas that have been having it just that it is more stable this time around.

You hit the nail on the head. Funny thing is most of these guys now holding one political position or the other grew up around oil palm; they know the economy & huge potentials it holds yet they ignore it.

This new places you called does not have an existing pathway that was initiated in the 90s, but those with an existing pathway have access to good water... It's just one year in office and the governor is running multiple projects at once..
