Helinues, Yarimo, DevilEqual and Ronu, if this flood has happened in South East, you lots will wash out your dirty liner reminding NL how SE governors are inefficient. You lots would have drag Peter Obi and Igbos. Hypocrite. My heart is with the people of Borno State. May God protect and see them through. |

God1000:Praying will not solve infrastructure problems. If houses are built on proper positions and flood channelled properly. You don't need prayers. The corrupt Tifnubu and his thieving and looting politicians should assist them. |

mrjoeblinks:Exactly, because it is built properly and expensively to avoid flooding. |

reiddecuti:Naaa! They never learn, why would they learn? when every poor, hungry and illiterate Naigerian is holding on to and been loyal to their own tribes, ethnics and religion. Naigeerians mentalities are " as long as it is not happening to me and my families" i am okay. "God bless me and my families" that's all you hear amongst Naigerians. ![]() |

Rich4god:The people in leadership need to always train their staff. Sometimes, plain ignorance and sheer incompetence leads to people failing to do what they are supposed to do and it ends up causing disaster for everybody. |

na wha ooo humanity ...make God help us. but i seee this thing as preventable...watching the video, from 2 mins upwards...the water didnt really affect the compunds by the left hand side at all....most of the submerged are the ghetto structures etc, what does that tell you? poor planning and anyhowness.....also there said funds were doled out, to prevent this, but it was sqanderd....dont know what to say, ...because , the slighest problem in this part of the world, they look for an igbo man to kill or destroy his business, while youruber ronu will also celebrate, i feel sorry for them , but still they will rather die than vote obi over the same man who sqanderd the billions provided to prevent this. |

If you want to build infrastructures against earthquake contacts Japanese construction companies ,If you want to prevent flood taking over your country contact construction companies from Holland ,what you called disaster in nigeria is like asking someone to cut a tree that is blocking a major road,if we keep shouting allah Allah from now till tomorrow nothing will change dubai or Qatar did not use shouting of Mohammed and allah to modernise their countries instead the used western technology |

EJEGBULEJE:These comments are very regrettable no doubt But there's no way you can absolve the leaders from blame for this disaster That's what you get when leaders refuse to understand that leadership especially under democracy is service to the people. And service is to a great extent all about sacrifice which comes with faithfulness and loyalty in service to God, country and the people. The clowns don't understand this. Their service is to Thier selfish self, their pocket and immediate family. That's all. |
