Even if they did not lose so much men , how about equipment, this is the almighty Russia that threatened and bullied all the countries in the globe being cut to size by Ukraine. Russia that handed Nigeria the Civil war victory is now losing territories to a smaller neighbor.

For context ,Imagine Nigeria with all it's size and imaginary power going into war with Cameroon and not being able to achieve much in the battle field and losing key states , cities , towns to Cameroon

Western weapons given to Ukraine are outdated and come with a restricted usage. Think of what will happen if Ukraine is allowed to take the war to Moscow, until then, I won't agree with anyone thinking this is a war between NATO and Russia. Another is the ministry of defence of Britain..they use spy on ground and also satellite imagery...next is Ukrainian general staff. Which count on ground casualty using details of eyewitnesses its troops ....the number is well above 500k Russia troops .but ISW and DOD of UK..says the amount includes those that are incapacitated and can no longer fight. Not necessarily death...
