Honestly, I’m not impressed. Call me whatever you like, I don’t care. I drove though Alfred Rewane some weeks back. Sort of weasel through some streets in Ikoyi and I came out thinking. We can do better as a country. The roads - even your Gerrard Road in Ikoyi, as “beautiful” as you all want us to believe is just a glorified “good” road in some climes.

Truly, Lagos is a big state. But I’ll suggest the state and local government do more to employ people who will clean the streets, ensure the drains and water ways are cleared, the streets lights come one when due, and the roads are in good shape. Traffic lights are computer controlled in saner climes. They’re more effective at controlling traffic that way.

Don’t tell me we have not “reached that level” yet. We can and should do it.

As for Famfa, I’m not sure what to say. We have a lot of big fishes in small ponds everywhere in Nigeria. Best of luck to them. They should sha employ more jobless Nigerians that are capable and ready.
