It’s safe to say PDP is dead in Edo north but he’s shameless though. I don’t like politicians like Alimikhena who can’t stick to any principle. He is an ingrate who should be watched closely.

When you say Okpebholo missed it, I am confused because he played his cards there well.the strongest bini politicians are in APC, and he picked his deputy from there. The only mistake he might have made was not picking someone stronger than Denco like Imasuen or Ihama but this might have isolated Oshiomhole and the president. Denco is young and popular with the youths... Bini is not as united as in 2020 behind pdp. Infact,many of them are rooting for Akpata...many of them who would have voted pdp are angry because of the perceived beef of Obaseki with the palace...Obaseki collected a lot of communities their land and this will also cost Asue votes.. most binis are disappointed in Obaseki performance... Asue started campaigning since last year which gave him a head start. If pdp win Edo south,it will be narrowly and because of Ikpoba...
Edo central will divide but I see okpebholo edging out Asue. Edo north esp Etsako will give the killer blow

Back to the subject matter, Edo South hates Obaseki for your information, but Asue has proven beyond reasonable doubt he is the best amongs them all hence their embrace with him, and also consolidating the fact that Asue is not Obaseki...not PDP but Candidature.
Edo South has a Tsunami kind of vote, even if you are from Edo SOuth and fall below the expectation of anticipated perfomance, you will never be voted in.

You basing your analysis on one market woman is very ridiculous. It doesn't even sound credible. Majority of those benefitting from Monday will naturally vote him. How many has benefitted from Asue? What are his contributions to Edo? Why should they vote him over Okpebholo that has impacted on thousands?

An average Edo south citizen is now a LP supporter. They will not vote him the way they voted obi but he will get votes surely which will harm pdp. Obaseki is not Asue yes but many voters are sentimental and unenlightened and won't vote Asue because of Obaseki...Asue himself said he will continue from where obaseki stopped. This has cost him votes as he will continue the bad policies of Obaseki including seizing their lands...they also asked Asue about his plans to weaken the powers of traditional rulers in Edo and he supported him. This will also cost him many votes as many Edolites are traditionalists...

Binis gave bloc votes in 2012 to oshiomhole because he performed well. Gave obaseki in 2020 because of godfatherism and sympathy,gave Obi bloc votes because he convinced them. Nobody will get it this time sir... only Edo north will give bloc votes
