Here is another method to solve the task.

30° + 70° + 20° + D = 360 °

120° + D = 360°

Collect the like terms

D = 360° - 120°

D = 240°.

But D + X = 360°...........Reflex angle

Therefore,

240° + X = 360°

Collect the like terms

X = 360° - 240°

X = 120°.............

Here is another method to solve the task.

You said sum of angles at a point is 360. That works for X+D.

What he is asking is what theorem you used to assume all the angles in the shape amount to 360.

okay, I used the proof of angle at the center is twice the remaining circumference.
