Just as you said, the lack of effective diplomatic representation has led to the imprisonment and deaths of many Nigerians abroad.

Governments all over the world enshrine all sorts of sundry educational materials in their academic curriculum in schools. It helps to inform and to arm their young ones with the information they need as they travel around the world.

I have seen a Nigerian guy get into trouble with a bag handed over to him by an elderly woman at Beirut airport. (She was a Nigerian from Lagos)! If not for the cameras, he definitely would have gone it for it. So you think it would be wrong to embed some sort of eduction about young Nigerian travellers knowing how to behave in such circumstances?
