He buys crude in Naira does not equate to cheaper petrol, he is buying at the same dollar equivalent. Let’s not forget that. And competition is good for lower prices. Why is it just NNPCL buying from him? |

If you can't tell us how it will affect the price of petrol in the market for the common man, you are not telling us anything. Just shut up |

If Dangote one million fuel tanker like let it go and supply to NNPC , the truth is that NNPC will never be trustworthy , NNPC are just corrupt , they are part of this country problem |

fuckJones:What hard decision has tinubu? Why is nnpc the sole buyer of dangote fuel? Why didn't tinubu forfeit buying a new plane for $150m or a building a new house of N21b for shettima for the sake of the country?.. Is tinubu presently in Nigeria? |

uncleck:so the government should not have any iota of control over a high security product like petrol? You must be joking. The price of Ordinary garri that is not regulated by the government has become so expensive no to talk of leaving petroleum products pricing solely in the hands of greedy marketers. |

uncleck:Common sense doesn't tell you that, the landing cost of petro in Dangote refinery is higher than market prices and that's why only NNPC can buy it now. Did you ask urself, why other Dangote products (cement, diesel, Sugar etc) not solely bought by federal govt but only petrol? |
| Re: 300 Trucks In Dangote Refinery To Lift Petrol On Sunday – NNPC by freemi(m): 7:25am On Sep 15, 2024 |
fuckJones:n what is the current price? How has that reduced hardship? |
| Re: 300 Trucks In Dangote Refinery To Lift Petrol On Sunday – NNPC by DeLaRue: 7:26am On Sep 15, 2024 |
I suspect the price will be close to the current price at NNPCL filling stations. At least N800 - N850. Otherwise, why would NNPCL suddenly jack up its price 2 - 3 weeks ago. They were prepping us for this new reality. |

You're about to lift petrol and bring it to the market and no announcement of any official price. Why all this secrecy? I'm these people are planning something not in the interest of Nigerians |

| Re: 300 Trucks In Dangote Refinery To Lift Petrol On Sunday – NNPC by DeLaRue: 7:30am On Sep 15, 2024 |
Minjim:I don't understand the secrecy too. However, I think we will know the price within the next 2 days as the petrol starts being sold at filling stations. I suspect NNPC will make no formal announcement of price now because they probably believe doing so will dominate the news and create unnecessary drama for NNPCL. Bro, whatever price you buy on Tues or Wednesday at any NNPCL filling station is the new price. |

Bobodee09:Can you show me where dangote "insisted he will only deal with NNPC"? Was nnpc being sole buyer dangotes idea or nnpc's idea? Can you pls name the independent marketers you say "keeps smuggling petrol and diesel to other West Africa for gain??" Why have they not been caught and arrested up till now? How much product have they smuggled out? How did they move these products? Where was NSA, customs, police, civil defence and DSS when this smuggling was taking place? |

This refinery has created jobs and will create more but Obis supporters will stay here on Nairaland to complain instead of taking advantage of the opportunities created by the diversification ongoing. They will still be fixated on food prices while Tinubu is creating mega opportunities. They are waiting for Tinubu to come and feed their families. Funny people. |
