How much is Dangote selling to NNPC?

This is still begging for answers.

All these their "crude for refined product" story is still abracadabra.
I read, #766 sold to NNPC but what NNPC will sell to marketers and Nigerians is what we didn't know yet.

Trucking by road to other state, very unsafe act.

They will be aware of where the truck is head and can track the supply, the truth is, some Nigerians don't want things to get better, they just want it to remain this way so they can make more money.

The marketers are a part of the problem, we don't have enough fuel but they are exporting to other countries after buying it cheap in Nigeria and becomes it's not going through customs, Nigeria don't get anything from it.

The truth, the exact cost of fuel is about 1200, if NNPC allow them, it will be around 1300, Nigerians are not ready for that now, so I suppose they want to reduce the burden and maybe sell at 800 or so, and then manage distribution.

If the reserve can continue to rise, and dollar get back to 700 naira the price of fuel will eventually become as low as 400, but until then, this is the best they can do, at least now we don't have to pay in dollars.
So #766 is what we will get with all the buy crude in Naira and sell in Naira?

This is a scam!

The singular fact that NNPC is the sole distributor of Dangote petrol means that the masses will have zero benefit from the magnificent refinery. NNPC could buy at N10 and decide to sell at N100. They can still cause artificial scarcity at will and hike the price as usual. It is a very worrisome situation that a national corporation has become a distributor for a private firm whereas it cannot maintain the refineries under its watch.

Having refinery of this magnitude in the country, everything about distribution of petroleum products should be completely deregulated. Let the forces demand and supply determine price and supply...
That’s the reason the masses will benefit. Mr Dangote knows Nigerians will come for him if he releases the price of PMS. Does NNPC have the power to stop him from selling to the public. The arrangement was done to enable the government subsidize the product.

The questions I asked you are a product of your comments. Are you saying your comments are stupid?

Which responsible sound mind will engage you when you can't answer simple questions based on your claims?

1. Can you show me where dangote "insisted he will only deal with NNPC"?

2. Was nnpc being sole buyer dangotes idea or nnpc's idea?

3. Can you pls name the independent marketers you say "keeps smuggling petrol and diesel to other West Africa for gain??"

4. Why have they not been caught and arrested up till now?

5. How much product have they smuggled out?

6. How did they move these products?

7.Where was NSA, customs, police, civil defence and DSS when this smuggling was taking place?

Can you tell me the percentage of the price of a litre of fuel government is subsidizing?

I wish I can post dangote statements.

What concerns dangote with smuggling?? So he should watch people buy from him in naira and go sale in west Africa countries in dollars??

Well it seems you nothing about business.

"We will track every tankers from our stations and we want to know the actual fig of liters of fuel Nigeria consume" you can go read Monday. press statement of last week monday.
What is the job of customs, civil defence, police, NSA and DSS if dangote is now responsible for stopping smugglers?

Explain the factors to us pls and stop saying they're other factors and not list a single one.
Pls educate us, it's not hard biko
I tot you called your self enterpriseMan,so they will just cover the crude oil in a container and it will turn to petrol, there are no other costs of input that will determine price, there is no oil regulatory body like OPEC that determines prices too,you need someone to tell you that even when petrol was sold for 180,cost of subsidy made it possible, when dollar is 1600 one liter of peteol will remain the same as when dollar was 800 or you think only crude oil is all that is required to produce petrol.dont let poor governance flush away our reasoning abeg.

If you are not a certified government propaganda zombié, tell Nairalanders how this is of benefit to Nigeria after Tinubu moved fuel price from N195 to N1200 in less than two years?

The FG is the one controlling who Dangote sell to? And this same FG claimed the Oil and Gas sector has been be deregulated. Deregulation that can't accommodate corruption is not deregulation in Nigeria

How are they able to get it out of the country in trucks? The FG and NC are complicit. Petrol are smuggled in large trucks and they move freely across the border.
The question is, who are the FG and Nigerian Customs.

Are they not Nigerians from this same society where corruption is rampant?

Why do you think Nigerian Customs will be any different.

And if it was that easy to find many honest Nigerians, every government since independence would have solved the issue of corruption.

But they haven't and they can't.

Society has a big corruption problem. Until the people decide to change their ways, corruption will continue to ruin things.

To think just last month NNPCL was selling at #580. As soon as they heard Dangote is ready to roll out they increased to #890.
By the way, what happened to the PH Refinery?

Have we all forgotten about that ?

I only wish the price will drop back to N180/litre
a barrel of crude is around 72$ which contains 159litres.
The price of petrol will not drop at all

You guys are despicable with your sycophancy. Na Tinubu built Dangote Refinery? If I may ask what happened to all the promises made by the Tinubu govt of the state owned Refineries becoming functional? With all the years Tinubu has been within the corridor of power embezzling public fund, apart from tax collecting and newspaper propaganda companies, which other productive sector has Tinubu ventured into in Nigeria? Where are his companies? And you are here giving Dangote credit to Tinubu, praising him for allowing Dangote buy and sell in Naira as if he has a choice.

What's nice about buying locally refined PMS at the same rate as imported PMS?

They really CAN cause scarcity! All they need to do as the sole buyer/distributor is to lift or decide not to lift fuel, naturally the queues begin again, we start begging for fuel at "any amount" because we are tired of the long queues and wasted man-hour...then NNPC resumes their supply...they announce a new price, in our desperation we keep quiet... fuel everywhere...high price achieved and everyone is quiet after ranting

Your mumu never do what's the essence of the policy when the price is pegged with USD rate grin . Why not do it like it's done in most Arab nations where fuel is sold in the country according to demand & supply in their local currency and market
