Tapout:
There are vehicles this conversion should not be done for. Example, Danfo and the likes. E get why.
That's why it's interesting that there are danfos that use CNG in Lagos. This is a 2018 thread.

Lagos Danfo Buses Now Use Gas Instead Of Petrol

A large number of the taxis in Benin have been using CNG since 2007.

My concerns is that CNG does not make transport fare cheaper.
Many commercial buses in Benin city are already on CNG, yet they charge as high as buses that are using Petrol.
The government should look into it.

Is it every vehicle that will be converted? Won't we still run on fuel?

What is the problem with you folks, where all you do with your life is complain and complain?
Why was this initiative introduced then? If all vehicles aren't suppose to be converted, what will those who still want to run their vehicles on petrol now do?

What is wrong with you also,. Kai!

Yes, is possible because there's no relative reduction of cost on staple items! What the government should do is to attack 2 complimentary economic sector that affects the masses!

Transport should go with Agric

Lol. It is always the major cities, always. The FG behaves and believes rural areas don't exist.

I want to know the CNG conversion centres in Wamakko LG and Esan North East LG, let's start from there.
There is no business anywhere Rolling out a technology that will focus on rural first.

You will first focus on the high sales area and branch out from there.

You call it business, right? Isn't this suppose to be a means to cushion the effects of the increment associated with the rising cost of things, as it relates to petrol?

Did mtn not start out in capital cities and roll out?
Is it not taking an overly socialist approach where the government pretends that fuel, energy etal can be provided for free that has put us where we are?

Say the cost of a cng skid is 200 million. Where should it go first - a location with over 200 000 cars or a location with 20 cars?

We are finally coming to the reality of limited resources where you cannot deploy everywhere at once

isn't the purpose of the CNG initiativemdant to Cushing the effects of fuel subsidy removal? Liking the CNG initiative to that of communication is a no no, because I can wholeheartedly decide not to use phone and even decide to go old school, by writing letters, can same be said as regard transportation? Or you think one can decide to trek from here to Tambuwal LG?

Our government keep making the same mistake over and over again, sometimes I wonder if they even have brains.

PS: the trucks and vehicles that convey foodstuff and other essential commodities across Nigeria, I'm sure they will run on CNG, no?

Why are you not also listing CNG filling stations alongside this conversion centers so we can be sure the government is serious on this? What if after conversion I can't find the CNG to buy?
