Nigeria Premier Football league 2024/2025 season


Rangers were held to a 0-0 draw by El-Kanemi Warriors in the opening game of the 2024/25 season of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.


Both teams created chances to score in the game but were let down by their poor finishing.

Rangers had goalkeeper Japheth Opubo to thank for his impressive performance.


The Flying Antelopes have recorded just one win in three competitive games this season.

El-Kanemi Warriors make a big impression in their first game in the NPFL after a few years in the Nigeria National League, NNL.

Two former internationals, Finidi George and Emmanuel Amuneke will battle for supremacy when their clubs, Rivers United and Heartland clash in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday two encounter in Port Harcourt on Saturday (today).

Finidi and Amuneke were both in the running for the Super Eagles job earlier in the year before the former got the nod of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Former Ajax winger Finidi has, however, returned to club football after his short stint with the Super Eagles.

The only thing I want to see if I can gain from this rubbish league is...

I want to attend one live match , and see if I can beat the bookies by playing live bet while watching the game live... Something tells me , I might have small advantage watching LIVE and placing bet.

The problem is...I might fall asleep in the stadium because of how boring it can get...

But I'll try... hopefully they will score goals
