Newsflash: NNPC lifts petrol from Dangote refinery

The Nigerian National Petroleum company limited has commenced loading of petrol from Dangote refinery in the ibeju Lekki Axis of Lagos.
At the start of the process, ten trucks drove into gantries while their compartments were filled with the product from a computerized gadget.
Equipped with 86 gantries making it possible to load 86 trucks simultaneously, the development now serves as a boost for the NNPC in the quest to make petroleum products available across the federation, while 40 gantries are dedicated for the discharge of petrol alone.

Vice President of Dangote Industries limited Devakumar V. G. Edwin said the refinery has the capacity to discharge 54 million liters of petrol per day thereby saving the country foreign exchange.

The number of trucks driving into the gantries keep increasing with the NNPC projecting hundreds in the coming days.

I like your optimism. I do hope too but sadly, some of us have lost hope.

The long-awaited petrol from Dangote refinery is here. But curiously and expectedly, Nigerians are not excited. Not because they don't appreciate this great feat by Dangote and the potentials of this investment on the socioeconomic prosperity of this nation, but because the pump price of petrol will still be high and unaffordable owing to the fact that the current dubious Tinubu regime is set up to improverish the people.

If Dangote petrol had hit the markets under the Buhari regime, I don't think the pump price of petrol will be above #200 a liter any where in Nigeria.

Under this calamitous dubious regime headed by a certain notorious narcotics drug trafficker, certificate forger, buccaneering power grabber, in collaboration with NNPCL, they are still telling Nigerians that they are still going to pay subsidies, price differentials, landing costs, shipping costs, foreign exchange differentials, etc. on petrol, whereas we were told by them that crude oil dealings between NNPCL and Dangote refinery will be in Naira. No one in this regime tells the truth. They tell lies, falsehoods, and propaganda every single day.

Tinubu played a part in making this refinery a reality, Dangote himself said so. The rest of your garbage analysis is born out of blind hate and parochialism.

If the price of petrol doesn't drop to at least 500 naira per litre, the type of inflation that will hit Nigeria next year will be Tinubulation promax.

I wasn't discussing about who made the refinery a reality, and I believe Nigerians are not interested in who made it a reality. What is good about making a refinery a reality when the price of petrol from it is so expensive and unaffordable to Nigerians just as other prices of goods and services have skyrocketed owing to the calamitous economic policies of the Tinubu regime?

NNPC that's suppose to make government owned Refineries work now has its trucks queuing at a private Refinery to lift products.

Nigeria we hail thee

After harassing and accusing innocent businessman Dangote of monopoly, they entered a monopoly agreement with him and paid the shortfall in advance with excess crude. In that process they left open room for excess petrol for smuggling cabal members. Very painful way of screwing Nigerians.

Let us pretend you have no idea about the reasons why subsidy was removed and why the naira was floated.
What light did you bring into the discussion by delving into your usual nonsensical rhetorics about drug dealing and certificate forgery?

Can you tell me why subsidy was removed and why naira was floated? Because seventeen months later, there are no positives, but rather so many negatives. In fact, up until this moment, Nigerians don't know how much has been saved from subsidy removal or what was saved where it's channeled. Please don't tell me the usual rhetoric about FAAC increasing and rice being shared.
