OlawaleBammie:A bond is like a paper to say I have given the govt $50 and the govt will return it in 2, 3 or 5 years with interest. So basically we borrow money put for bank come dey claim say na we get am. So what the guy is saying is how will we pay back with interest when even now naira is falling. By the time we pay back instead of 1600 naira to the dollar it may be 2000. If na payment for oil or some other agricultural goods that we have sold then it is very good news but na borrow borrow |

JoeyNaza:With the coming up of Dangote fuel, Nigeria / CBN would be able to increase our reserve bcoz the 65% of our dollar earnings hitherto spent on fuel importation would reduce to like 25%. This means that Nigeria/CBN would have more dollar reserve for other economic and productive use. |

You know semi literates are easy to identify publicly. In the exuberant excitement to exhibit their World over, it is known that "write" is a synonym for so many words, including "type", in the context of conveying a message, idea, or knowledge. Type by definition means hitting a keys on a machine to print a document and is a short form, derived from the word "typewrite", which is defined as a transitive verb for conveying thoughts, ideas, feelings, expressions, using keys(became popular around 1887 when typewriters were introduced). See the link and picture below if that could further help you. https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/type#hit-keys-on-machine-to-print-document "Write" is a synonym for "Type", sister. Stop misleading Helinues. Let her get the necessary education so she does not display arrant ignorance like you MT:

Kobojunkieee:There's what we call optics when passing on information. Element of truth that can be manipulated to alternate the facts. Because what they technically saying is that foreign investors are rushing to get the FG bond. Which is a big lie because which investor in their right mind will invest in a failing economy. |

Blazetrailer:You goofed and you exposed your ignorance, yet your silly arrogance wouldn't allow you to accept your mistake. With your claim to understanding Queen's English, how many Nobel Laureate have you won? How many people speak or write Queen's English in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia. A Caucasian once said this to me: "You WAS eating....". If you heard that from a White, you would be smiling like an idiot and would not have the gut to correct him. The Whites do not care about your tenses once they understand what you are saying. Remember, it is their language and yet you are claiming holier than God. Such a nobody in the mix of things. English Language is just a language like Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo, and not a measure of intelligence. Get it into your thick skull. You thought you were intelligent by claiming to have a good handle on English Language, meanwhile, you are so poor at it. Your kind thought if you could master English Language, you would be respected among the whites; conversely, they would not even understand the "nonsense" you are saying with your funny accent. Keep dreaming cc: Helinuses, Everyone

Lol.... the idiot is using google headline material to substantiate his stupidity. You have written nothing. Your skull is empty. Did you bother to check what I shared with you to understand why "Typed" and 'Wrote" can be used interchangeably? I doubt though, because you don't seem to have the capacity for such, given the gibberish you have written down there. When you see someone buttressing the mistake of one Caucasian as the basis for her own argument, its called Cum hoc ergo propter hoc (with this, therefore because of this). It has been established many years ago as a thought process of simpletons! For some more knowledge, do you realise it has been proven that Google headline materials are not usually the most accurate or most profound for knowledge/researches as they are influenced by various factors as number of clicks, advertisement rates, etc.? Do you know if I want my publication to be the first you see(even though it may not be the most accurate or most informed) when you do a google search, I could easily influence that by paying? I doubt you know all that because of the level of ignorance you have displayed publicly ....and I am sure you are always referring to Helineus in your post simply because darkness attracts darkness, buffoonery can only attract stupidity. She has simply reaslised your stupidity and abandoned you to your fate, alone, in the abyss of foolishness. She wants to improve and have more knowledge, hence she has left the battle of idiocy to you only. MT: |

Another dumbo. ![]() Is it grammatically incorrect, in the context of social media writing? Tell me. if you were writing for publication, presentation or a thesis, I could agree, but on a social media? Bro, get some sense, there is nothing wrong with. Richtaiwo: |

sslcrypt:The bond's interest rate is 9.75% annually for five years. If the bondholder keeps the bond to maturity, he/she will earn over 60% interest in five years. This is an open theft of Nigeria’s wealth. The five-year bond, issued at par with a 9.75% annual coupon, witnessed a 180% subscription. |

Blazetrailer:You typed an epistle in order to justify your stupidity. So, why do lecturers tell the student to "type" their homework for submission? Why don't they say the homework must be "written" for submission. I know you know the fact, you are just exposing your foolishness to the world. Go to the Western World, and see how a lot of their folks speak and write. Continue to live in a fool's paradise. The more you attempted to sound intelligence, the more stupid you sound. The whole Nairaland is laughing at your silliness.

Kobojunkie:Nigerians with dollars. It should be obvious. Nigeria's crude income hasn’t dropped off. Our population has doubled, and Nigerians want imported things. This is why the Naira has crashed. Politicians and top civil servants are making more money now than ever. |

Tianamen1:Wanting imported things isn't bad at all. The Naira did not crash because of that. It crashed because of the many anti-people & anti-business policies of its government along with the massive weight of corruption bearing down from all sides. ![]() |

God have mercy!! I am having so much fun with this idiot. This just continues to underscore the fact that technology can never conceal stupidity or genetical imbecility. Or how else do I explain this? You stated that using "wrote" in place of "type" was incorrect. And I went further to show you that they are synonyms, yet because you have a cheap phone and some free data, you keep coming back to brazenly expose your idiocy. Abi, kini itumo gbogbo radarada to n kor yii?? Is "Write" a synonym for "Type"? Answer is yes. check it anywhere. No long story. Asking why some lecturers have a preference for one particular synonym instead of another?? Only a kid can type this type of nonsense. This is stupidity taken too far. Anyone is free to use the word they prefer, so long as they are synonyms. No wonder Nigeria is going backwards, when these are the type of the so called "educated citizens" that vote....... and little wonder they voted in a criminal with a shady past as their president. You can see how Helinues has quietly abandoned you too. You are on your own. I have your time today, its high time we exposed some of the buffoons here for all to see and earmark. MT: |

Kobojunkie:With a population like Nigeria's, you have to produce your cars, clothes, and phones. You can't simply import these things, or your currency will collapse. Oil was $70 per barrel when Obasanjo was president. The Naira went from 145 to 116 to a dollar between 2004 and 2008. Petrol sold for N75. Nigeria accumulated 25 billion dollars in its excess crude account. These are facts. In less than 20 years, everything has collapsed even though oil sells at the same $70 per barrel today. Social media and population growth destroyed that country. |
