Good afternoon pet lovers. I stumbled on a page called "pet palace Nig" On Instagram and they are into adoption of dogs and pets for certain prices. I selected two cats which they agreed to send to my location yesterday after making the payments. To my greatest surprise, the guy stopped responding and equally stopped picking my calls. This morning, he has unfollowed me on Instagram. I can't even find the pet palace Nig again. I don't even know how to express how I feel about the whole stuff. I didn't know they could use adoption of pets to scam people. Attached are our conversations and his phone number

with the amount of scams in Nigeria, why would you send money to anybody before having the cats in front of you

what part of the word ADOPTION didnt you understand? why would anyone pay a total stranger for a pet that they havent seen/got in front of them?! pet adoption is FREE, the minute you pay for a pet then thats not adoption thats PET SALE.

That breed up there is an exotic one and looks more like a British short hair (I stand to be corrected) Which is about 800k minimum price.

Did you ask for the name of the breed before going ahead with payment?

Did you verify the price online with the sellers price?

You also claim you are stated to get two cats for 75k I guess.

The scam was a cheap one that you could have easily unraveled. But that doesn't still justify the action of the scammer, very unfortunate humans using peoples desire to scam them. If you have a means to get them please do but I won't advice you to pay a dime for follow up.

There are verified sellers online with good reputation plus you can opt out for an escrow.This should not deter you love for cats, count your lose and move on!

Una never see anything. Have on several occasions seen people advertising Bengal for sale at about 10,000 naira and when you look, na DHS Local breed.

if you're ready to deal with this person, and have proof of your communication, na to involve police, together with ya bank statement.

If at end of the day you catch am, you're free to ruin his/her LIVEs with charges.

meanWhile, its easy getting SCAMed when you try buying expensive things for dirty cheap, except you had no idea of it's actual value
