There was never any rift between Dangote, FG, NNPC & marketers. It was planned all along - create a crisis and get the people on Dangote's side. That way, whatever Dangote churns out (FG/NNPC/Marketers-approved), the people will appreciate it because emotionally, they are already on his side. Do you want to run back to "NNPC's N1,300" now? cc: Mynd44 the coward, I'm still waiting for your next ban |

Afonja44:Truly there was never a rift, there was only deception coming mainly from Tinubu and NNPC, Dangote only had to play along not to have issues with Tinubu and his deception... Dangote is a business man and he won't sell at loss, NNPC is the sole buyer from Dangote, which means technically Dangote has no business with Nigerians, it is like a seller at Alaba trying to blame his supplier for goods he tested, imported from China and sold in Nigeria to customers who came back complaining... The Alaba seller cannot tell the customers to lodge their issues to the seller in China, they have no business with him... If I were to blame anyone here, it is Tinubu and the NNPC because they made it so |

| Re: Dear Nigerians, Dangote, Tinubu, NNPC & Marketers Played You by Afonja44(op): 4:41pm On Sep 15, 2024 |
Brendaniel:Yes And Dangote's fuel price is set by FG/NNPC according to favourable profit rates to marketers. They are all in it together for profit. Dangote has nothing to lose. |

Afonja44:That is it, Dangote has nothing to lose, that's why he is just playing along, the whole petrol supply issue in Nigeria is still shrouded in secrecy and people in government and their cronies are still cashing out of it... |

U foIks are always back and forth claiming to be smart. First off, it was u guys blowing the whole thing out of proportion and taking sides, nobody sent u, today, it is same u guys saying there was never a rift? There was a disagreement, a disagreement does not mean there will be disengagement, if it is not f00Iishñess by obidents, what makes u folks think that Tinubu who encouraged Dangote to build a refinery will fight against it? I kept saying this all the while and you folks kept talking, today u are saying there was never a problem, there was a disagreement and as usual is now settled, it is u folks who blew it out of proportion because most of u Iàck the abiIity to reason, u just dance to ur emotions. |

Let’s focus on getting to the root of the problem which is finding out how much it costs Dangote to refine crude (so we can compare with cost elesewhere in the world), how much Dangote sells refined products to NNPC and marketers, and why Nigeria subsidized cost of petrol when it was imported but can't do same now Let's leave sensational talk aside and get to the root of the matter. |

Bad belle people, una be think say una wise. After condemning Dagotte and his refinery over the years and hoping that it never came online, because you guys thought that Dangotte and Tinubu were falling out, you guys became emergency lover of DAngotte. Well, the refinery is finally working, and it happened in the regime of Tinubu. There will be more good news. The security situation will soon be brought under control and the fortunes of this country will turnaround for good. |
| Re: Dear Nigerians, Dangote, Tinubu, NNPC & Marketers Played You by DesChyko: 6:03pm On Sep 15, 2024 |
Even if there was, it is a good thing we have a private refinery working and this was done by a single private individual. The government has no excuse. We have four refinery structures on ground. The government should get them up and running or privatise them to serious minded human beings unlike them. Nah there we dey now. Dangote or No Dangote. The moment NNPCL plaster for front as sole retailer, pheeeeewwwwww. |
| Re: Dear Nigerians, Dangote, Tinubu, NNPC & Marketers Played You by DesChyko: 6:09pm On Sep 15, 2024 |
9jatriot:Correct. So Tinubu cannot deny to know if a refinery is capable of working in Nigeria. He also cannot deny to know if Nigeria has refineries, where they are located or if Nigeria's money goes there. If a private individual can make a refinery work from scratch, thankfully, Tinubu doesn't have to start from scratch since there are already 4 standing refineries to touch up and get churning out petroleum products. Also, he has the country's war chest, the 469 legislative members and international relations to make it work. These are the priorities, not watching Dangote trailers. We need to focus here. A better Nigeria is POssible. |
| Re: Dear Nigerians, Dangote, Tinubu, NNPC & Marketers Played You by 9jatriot(m): 6:14pm On Sep 15, 2024 |
Obviously you do not know the way the man Tinubu thinks. Rather than government being directly involved in the building and running of refineries, he will rather encourage private sector to build and run or at best run a PPP. Only foolish people do the same thing over and over again even when there is no result. Those refineries own by Nigeria may never work using the same model as is being done. DesChyko: |

Since our leaders have refused to have sense let a private fellow in person of dangote take all the glory for 50 plus years a leading oil producer can refine its own crude becos of corruption by a few ppl making us to pay for something that's should ordinarily fetch us trillion of dollars..and make nigeria like Luxembourg 🇱🇺 ...if our leaders were good ppl there should be no lack in the country all Nigerians should be very comfortable..if I were the leader of this country all families who have one way or the other had access to power will have their wealth and all those close to them. |
| Re: Dear Nigerians, Dangote, Tinubu, NNPC & Marketers Played You by Gadafii: 6:19pm On Sep 15, 2024 |
I disagree, NNPC genuinely didn't want dangote refinery to work because that would be the end to their imported foreign products like the one in Malta, which generates huge revenue for them to loot thru subsidy payment If dangote is allowed to set his price, fuel should sell above 400 per liter at worse, that's a huge threat to NNPC and FG. At first they claimed dangote product was substandard, at some point he was denied license to refine, when all of these failed, they tried to influence the price of the fuel to be in the same range as their, over 1k.. that failed as well. The corruption is this country is bigger than anyone can imagine, sadly |

9jatriot:Oh, but I do. Was born in Lagos, have been living in Lagos and read his files too. But let's not really talk about how he thinks. That's quite discouraging. We're just focused on the beautiful lessons he must have learnt from this Dangote exploit. And how we expect the birth of four baby refineries ASAP -or four baby refinery-owners. Baby steps👍🏾 |
