Nothing ventured; nothing gained! After all the hype that this refinery will reduce the pump price. Useless! |

Little or no difference. Politicians have failed Nigeria. They are businessmen after all. After all the hype we are still where we are. We need to save ourselves... because no one else will do it for us. |

Lithiumite:. Forex was announced to be gaining....what did it gain and what is the benefit of that gaining to the man on the street? What do you mean by "about getting stable"? What type of projection or reporting is that? Is this government responsible for local refining or a single individual? If you give the 1.2m barrels figure under buhari, why can't you give the figure of that shows that oil production is on the upswing? How is naira stable? Did tinubu meet naira at N1600? What stability are you boasting about? Was it not this same tinubu that said N200 to a dollar was unacceptable during Jonathan era? How has he done better? If you say "There is manifest stability on the macro level", can you tell me the stability that you say has MANIFESTED? Pls which food inflation has been death with? How has it been dealt with? Who dealt with it? Who created the worst inflation that Nigerians are currently experiencing? |

kheny12:You see no same person will chose to buy what he can produce. The person ibb or abacha that opted for importation is no foolish either. I believe the reason for importation is that prices of imported fuel was lower than locally refined fuel. You know the people in NNpc have to fatten their pockets so there was no way they would have been able to compete with foreign refineries. So even with dangote refinery I knew there was no way landing cost wld be less than 800. If They had left NNpc to start refining there landing cost can never be less than 1500 |

Nonybb:Same people like you were the one shouting that govt was paying subsidy through the back door as landing cost of 1,300 far exceeds what we are past the pump. Now you see the price dangote rolled out which,it's still cheaper than if it was imported and there is currently no subsidy.....let's appreciate. |

So bad of government that by the time Dangote refinery was in place, they quickly raised the pump price so that they can save a lot of money, otherwise the actual price of petrol should be 600. |

Are these pictures necessary? Make the fuel available. All these cho cho cho are not necessary. Nigeria is running on a template of " the more you see, the less you see". God abeg ooo |

Flangelo12:Isn't it better the refinery didn't work? How much is the cost of fuel from the so-called refinery? Poverty and sycophancy won't let some of you be able to think. Refinery indeed! |
| Re: NNPC Begins Lifting Of Petrol At The Dangote Petroleum Refinery (Photos) by Flangelo12: 6:57pm On Sep 15, 2024 |
samuelson06:I know you are pained that it's not an Igbo man that owns the refinery. Your type litter Nairaland. |

cunny88:Maybe to checkmate potential smuggling of the product outside Nigeria. The petrol price at N800/N900 is still subsidised. |

Flangelo12:Shut it. I'm not pained because of that. Whoever owns it isn't my business. Stop that tribalism sh!t with me. I don't do tribalism. How did Buhari presidency benefit the average northerner? How is Tinubu presidency benefiting the average southwesterner? At the end, you tribal bigots will learn the hard way. Sane people are pushing for a better Nigeria and you bigot is here talking about who owns what. What's my business with that? Are you happy that we have a local refinery in the country and fuel is this costly than when we never had? Are you happy? Stop that tribalism non§ense with me, please. |
