Chairman of Ogbete Market Amalgamated Traders’ Association (OMATA), Mr. Stephen Aniagu, was on Saturday night murdered in cold blood.

The development has created tension in Enugu, the Coal City capital.

DAILY POST learnt that Aniagu, Chairman of the largest market in the state, was shot dead by gunmen suspected to be assassins.

The assailants were reported to have murdered him at the Topland Area of the state, after which they made away with his car.

A gory video in circulation showed Aniagu’s lifeless body riddled with bullets, with residents surrounding him in shock and disbelief.

The Enugu State Police is yet to issue any statement on the incident.

He will be counted among the brave men that stood against the barbaric sit at home declared by terrorist Simon Ekpa.

God rest his soul and shame bastard Ekpa.

I just looked at your profile to see that you have been anti Igbo, anti LP, anti anything good but a supporter and information minister for Simon Ekpa.

It's people like you non igbos that knows who and who are supporting sit at home and who's not, and remember, it's people like you that commit these kinds of murder in the east.

One day is one day.

Some of you tribalists spread lies without a conscience! This man has a family and was murdered for some reason not stated but one Musiliu from Ogbomosho thinks its okay to use his death to score points against his Igbo enemies without considering his family members who may see this comment.

You see this madness you people are engaging in with the Igbos, it will consume you if you're not careful.

God rest his soul = good statement.

God shame bastard Ekpa? Israel is not praying to God to shame terrorists.

Ekpa has been given free hand to operate, just like Bello Turji by the incompetency of Nigerian police, DSS, NIA and co.

God will not come down to fight for us. Learn to call out the inept government that has failed to protect the citizens.

Ekpa would have been past tense if Nigerian government learns from Israel but they are using DSS to jail journalists while insecurity continues to rise.

You know what’s going on! I have warned daft Igbo….so naive and trusting in ‘one Nigeria’ to protect them, that we and our future generations will NEVER be fully safe sharing the same country with two ethnic groups in particular! If you notice, THEY are they ones trying to keep this sit-at-home thing, that IPOB has called off long ago, in the public consciousness; it’s them who equally want Mazi Kanus’ continued incarceration; they are the ones who support and promote the activities and pronouncements of the ekpa scumbag on this forum; they are majorly the ones against Peter Obi, LP and Igbo presidency; and they all have a particular political persuasion!

It can’t have gone unnoticed that the OP spends the entire day looking for or waiting for any negative news from the south-east, and when something finally crops up, verified or not, he rushes to the politics section with a stiff boner and proceeds to create a thread on it…then his bigoted ilk all fall inside to give their unsolicited two-cents and shed crocodile tears!
