That’s a big lie. There is no law that says he can’t sell to marketers directly. NNPC made it clear some weeks ago that he can sell to marketers directly if he wants.

The NNPC and by extension the Nigerian Government still retains the right to who sells petrol to Nigerians.
Forget about law, if Dangote do more than he is doing now ,the establishment might frustrate him.
And mind you he needs the Nigerian crude as a base even though he maybe supplanting it with import from other places..

We all want NNPC’s dubiousness to be exposed but sadly, this statement by Dangote is not helping matters. What’s wrong with Dangote saying we sold PMS to NNPC at N600 and not N898? That way, we can mobilize and beat up any NNPC official that wants to sell the product at N900. It’s really sad seeing Nigerians trying to defend Dangote’s opaqueness.

Saying he didn't sell it at #898 is transparent enough! He literally called NNPC liars and called on them to come out straight. I am waiting for a rebuttal.

Thank you Dangote for having the boldness to put out this statement.

If TINUBU is sensible a little. Not so sensible o but just a little sensible. He should quickly sack Kyari and dissolve the NNPCL management. Froze the accounts and put an adhoc management to run the NNPCL for sometime. Allow the deregulation of PMS to work. Marketers should buy directly from Dangote while NNPCL is being reshuffled.

Dangote is not denying that they sold for N898/ litre. What he's saying is that this batch of pms was produced with crude bought with dollars and that from October 1st when crude will be bought with naira, the price of pms would be known.
