IF GOVERNMENT IS AMBIVALENT ABOUT PRICE, DANGOTE SHOULD FIX WHOLESALE PRICING AT N450 PER LITER AND RETAIL PRICE AT N500 PER LITER. A MARGIN OF N50 PER LITER IS ENOUGH FOR COMPETITION, DISTRIBUTION COST AND PROFIT . |

DeOTR:They are ok. They are being careful not to embarrass nnpc because of the favour of selling crude to them in naira. The price from DRL is definitely cheaper than what nnpc pays for imported products but nnpc wants to maintain their old price to cover their losses. 2 Likes |

I thought they said it'd be sold in naira And in this statement they said we should await the price Is it that the ones they sold which was lifted on Sunday were,buy now and we talk price tomorrow or later?because I don't know why the statement didn't actually say the amount it was sold for |

ALTERNATEID:NNPC is the problem here. Remember that transaction between DRL and nnpc is pure corporate transaction between two entities that doesn't necessarily require public disclosure. Why should nnpc rush to make public statement? DRL from grapevine sold to them below nnpc imported cost but nnpc wants to maintain their old price for now. |

NNPCL didnt deny the story about them giving DRL 385k pbd of crude in exchange for petrol so how did they translate that to 898 NGN per litre of petrol. Mind you, Dangote says 44% of 650k bpd can satisfy local market plus smuggling needs. 44% of 650 is 286k pbd. What happens to the remaining 99k bpd equivalent? |

This press release by Dangote to debunk a claims by NNPC that they bought fuel at the rate of N896 per liter clearly shown that there is a big issue goingon underground between both parties However I can understand that this is the very first time NNPC is having this type of confrontation by an indigenous company like Dangote, it's learly show that Nigeria is gradually heading forward a new dawn, under this administration Nigeria will reclaim her old glory in the committee of nations, something great is about to happen to Nigeria the chain of boundary NNPC used to tied Nigeria for many years is about to be broken and Nigeria will have a breath of relief. |

ALTERNATEID:DANGOTE can never tell the truth because of the man he recently hired to lead the Public Relations battle of DANGOTE Refinery. The Indian VP of the group would have told Nigerians the truth but the PR Man (Nigerian) is doing a propaganda job his people are well known for. When DANGOTE Refinery started Diesel we were told the price even before marketers started loading. There was press conference on Diesel price by Dangote. He did that because Diesel is not covered by SUBSIDY. It pained me that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah died when he was needed most. He was the Chairman of Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream Sector. He would have blown opened everything. Dangote avoided Senate because of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and penetrated House of Reps. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is the Owner of Capital Oil. They know DANGOTE is after SUBSIDY. NNPC decided to frustrate DANGOTE from collecting SUBSIDY indirectly. It is a Battle of SUBSIDY and a Battle for Subsidy. I as a person, I prefer Nigerians buy the PMS at high price without Subsidy to NNPC buying PMS at high price from Dangote and selling to Marketers at Subsized price. Already, the new PR Man and those frustrated people are setting people against Tinubu because of hatred and because they lost election. In all their weekly Association meeting, Autonomous Communities / Village meetings and Villages /Town meetings they said Dangote be wan sell petrol for 300 naira but Tinubu no gree. Tinubu na wicked yeye man. They mainly listen to WAZOBIA radio station. Propaganda. Because of this propaganda of Dangote be wan sell petrol for 300 naira but Tinubu no gree, Dangote Refinery can never tell the true price as he did for Diesel. NNPC has told us the price. |

NNPC is a fraud, likewise Dangote. Blended fuel from Malta enters d country as low as 200.per liter. Then NNPC set d price. Now the trend must continue with Dangote cos if he says d actual price , he risk future excessive profit he's know for. The problem is Tinubu that gave NNPC mandate in order to fund his excessive lifestyle. This useless Nnpc makes more than#500 billion on Nigerians daily |

I want to understand. Is it that its way cheaper than the price NNPCL is saying because those people can't be trusted one bit. Let dangote themselves say the price there are selling now and also give other company opportunity to buy from them so the competition would be more rather than giving only NNPCL |
