Portable meets Peter Obi, laments receiving nothing in return

Popular Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, talks about his encounter with Labour Party presidential contender Peter Obi in 2023.

The meeting, which happened at a private function, has drawn notice right away. Portable has expressed appreciation for Obi’s vision for Nigeria and leadership. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Known for his vivacious demeanor and raw flair, Portable expressed his excitement about meeting the well-known politician.

In a sequence of social media posts, the “Zazuu” singer talked about his goals and opinions on national issues while applauding Obi’s dedication to the Nigerian people.

I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful individual today who is prepared to elevate Nigeria to new heights. In one of the videos that he uploaded on his Instagram page, Portable stated, “Peter Obi is a man of the people, and I’m happy to have this opportunity to connect with him.”

In another video, Portable lamented that he received no cash rewards from the politician while comparing him to the president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.

“Let’s be going, Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go,” he stated.
