Imagine all the idle earners in LGAs and States getting paid for doing nothing. Thata the primary cause of steady inflation-increase. Imagine if such battalion of idlers contribute just equivalent of $500 per annum to the economy, that means there will be more forex and naira will be much stronger compared to the N1650-N1700 range it is today. That will in turn drastically drive down prices of all things especially the imported ones and dollar priced things like crude and its final products.
The govt too have a part in that because they always want support of the idlers and most times lack the will the keep local production going.

Simple, nothing complicated.

Right now the world price of petrol is around ₦805 per liter or $0.49 per liter. Dangote could sell to buyers around the world at that price.

If Dangote sells to NNPC at less than those prices, he will lose money. If you owned a refinery in Nigeria you would do exactly the same. There's no kindness or wickedness, just BUSINESS and making PROFIT.

Nothing in life is free. If Nigerians want stable fuel supply, they must pay in full.

He bought the current crude stock he is selling in dollars ... The naira for crude isn't starting till October.....he has to recoup his profit.

If not, nothing stops the government from facilitating the direct purchase of petrol from the refinery by all interested marketer.

But they would rather make NNPC become the sole distributor so they can continue to steal billions in shady deals.

Government of the day truly lacks empathy while the docility of the masses is arguably justified in order to avoid what happened in 1842.

I see first hand how much millions of dollars Dangote has been making from exporting diesel,gas oil and naphta since June, how much has those export earnings helped the Naira?
You know why it has not helped the Naira in any way, it's because Dangote is a private company and all his export earnings don't stay in Nigeria, he's either settling loans offshore or placing it in an escrow account with JP Morgan. Put yourself in Dangote's shoe, will you put your hard earned FX in an unstable economy like Nigeria?
If your argument is that buying pms will save Nigeria FX spending then yes it would but it will also result into Nigeria losing FX earnings, because for every barrel of crude oil NNPC sells to Dangote in naira the alternative forgone is FX loss if the crude had been exported hence I feel the net effect is close to zero.
You guys should stop been unnecessarily optimistic cos this is Nigeria's reality now.

Dangote export of diesel & aviation fuel is not adequate enough to trigger a turn around, besides dangote is having challenges selling this product

Balance in trade is key here, what is the volume of diesel & aviation fuel exported compared to volume of refined PMS we import .. see the gap naw

Over 60% of our forex goes into importation of PMS .. imagine that stops are you saying the ripple effect wont strengthen the economy/naira
