https://www.nairaland.com/7290930/solar-inverter-installation/26 I usually wonder how these very affordable systems cope when there is no sun and no grid. Especially based on the intended load. Has anyone used similar setup for atleast a year, and what are their experiences? Btw, this company is growing fast! And I am studying them make I too fit grow my own 🙂, but some of their solutions look really undersized. I may be wrong. |

Is it really? Naija current inflation rate alone is over 30% Make we no talk fx rate. Plus, people will still default. Plus, they actually have to turn a profit, its business afterall. Good morning house, Please is it posible to achieve 100% solar panel wattage in lagos.? am intending to install 4500 watts pv on a 4000 watt max inverter. Max voltage have been considered to be lower than max voltage requirment. Thanks for your response in anticipation |

abbeymighty:Don't think so. Temperatures in Nigeria mean you'll never get more than 85-90% of rated output. Most I've ever gotten for example is ~1500w from my 1740w array. As long as Vsc is within spec, you'll be fine. |

abbeymighty:Even a car cannot give 100% as parts of the energy will be converted to heat. 80 - 90% is already excellent. By the way irrespective of your location, orientation of panels is a big key. 1 Like |
