We have all witnessed the drastic changes in the price of PMS, if we can start farming foods in our backyard and plantations then why can't we farm Oil and gas.

You go farm your food, drill for your crude, refine your petrol, gas, and diesel, source and purify your own water, provide your own electricity, build your own school...all while paying taxes to a government that does not mean or care anything for your lot. Una no dey tire? undecided

NNPC will come after you they own all the gas in Nigeria by law and won't support any local business from touching that gas only the IOC because ......you know now..

people do it in niger delta. The govt call it illegal refining.

Seriously there's sence in your point regardless how awkward it sounds.

Sugar, Wheat, Cocoa all have international price, no one stops companies from turning it to Chocolate and beverages.

Why then is crude not allowed to be refined by the owners
