Positioning themselves to finish Edo money, it’s all a gamble, vote anyone asides APC(the party from hell). No single politician should be trusted, it’s all a mess and they care for themselves only

How is he living under the shadow of his father? Is it the shadow of his father that placed him the current position he occupied in AFC?
You don't know? Did you read where he said that Asue's father stepped down for his father decades ago?

One thing we don't realize is that it is a cycle. If your father happens to hold a political position today, or a prominent non-political position even, years down the line, his children are likely to benefit from the foundation laid by the father. The marks we make tend to stick over time, especially if they are positive marks.

For example, did you think that Ajuri Ngelale was the best person for the job he did during the Buhari and Tinubu presidencies? Did you know that Ajuri's father was Welfare Director in Rivers State during the time of Former Governor Milford Okilo? The fact that his father held such a sensitive position back in the days, played a significant role in his selection for the positions Ajuri held in the various governments. This, of course, doesn't remove the fact that he also has some educational qualification for the positions he held. We all know that your education and certificate will never guaranty you certain perks in this country if you don't have strong recommendations from family and friends. That is how it works. This is why it is very important that if you hold any position of public trust, make sure you do your very best. Posterity never forgets.

" Asue will ensure continuity of Obaseki's work" shocked

Edo people, that's a glowing endorsement o grin

By the way, it's extremely hard for the children of great men to fill their shoes.

This niggah go abroad go get foreign accent. His endorsement doesn't mean shiit. Wouldn't get pass 1 vote ( his own). His own wife might not even be persuaded. grin
obaseki is not doing bad oo The man pays the highest minimum wage that even FG is not able to pay

He takes care of workers welfare including 13th month for pensioners and civil servants

During his time edo has 2 modular refineries and a power plant.

Though he ought to have done better but compare to all governors he is not doing badly at all

Oga you are very wrong in your judgement about him.
Their Late Father left almost nothing behind for them before he died.
Andrew have made a name and career for himself.
He is a seasoned financial expert well recognize in Africa and the West.
He is not living under the shadows of his Late Father who General Buhari made a poor man before he died.
Remember, it was Chief Gabriel Igbinedion that paid the money to the Federal Government before his Late Father Ambrose Ali was released on medical grounds.
By the time Ambrose Ali came out of prison, one of his eyes was blind and he had stroke.
But thanks to God today, all his children are doing well in life.

So because he endorsed someone, that now means that he is living under his father's shadow abi? And even if that is the case, how does that bother you?
Should he come and live under your father's shadow? Nigerians sha!

Ambrose Ali died millions of years ago? Utter rubbish!

We don't even knw if we are having election or not. Present governor is not working, highest contender (PDP) are not serious
Edo election will be tougher than the one in Ondo. Aiyedatiwa will that election before 2pm on the election day.
Re: Edo: Ambrose Alli’s Son, Andrew Endorses Asue Ighodalo by aylipple: 8:55am On Sep 17, 2024
Ondo people (I mean the governorship candidates) aren't serious. Unfortunately, the voters are going to have to choose between an unserious, unprepared incumbent in Gov. Aiyedatiwa & whoever is flying the PDP flag.

Ighodalo is likely to win.

But I have no bone to pick, totally neutral.

Seems PDP has best candidate, LP too is okay but APC chose a mediocre candidate. Up to you, Edo folks - vote the ugliest as per stereotype on Nairaland.

But remember " Edo no be Lagos" didn't pan out well the other time...
APC likely to win

So, because Ondo people are not coming up with rhetorics about burning down their state and winning at any cost means they are not ready for election?

You will do well to make use of the little sense you have at least before 12 noon.

You can't afford to hand over the state to an illiterate who can barely spell his name and a thug par excellence. To cap it all, from a party that had set Nigeria backward by 50 years.

The crowd that always gather at their rallies are looking for what to grab. They know who to vote. As I always say, now is the worst time for apc to contest for any major election. Street no smile at all.

Will these Endorser come home to vote? I doubt it, if he comes to vote, where will his polling unit be? Close to his dilapidated father's house? Quite pathetic to know Late Ali has a son of this calibre and left his father's compound to look like what u don't know.
Re: Edo: Ambrose Alli’s Son, Andrew Endorses Asue Ighodalo by Solababa91(m): 9:29am On Sep 17, 2024
Sadly, even the civil servants do not like him, the populace are not benefitting from the dividends of the refineries and the power plant. The power plant is feeding the who is who in Edo State, not tge populace.

One of MKO Abiola ' s sons endorses Abacha.
Nothing new.
Obaseki brought in outsiders to loot Edo State.
The looting can be stopped on September 21, 2024.
