You can't blame Dangote,it's the corrupt lack of transparent government u blame, they have arm twisted Dangote by supplying him crude in naira and telling him to make them the SOLE OFF TAKER.this is Nigeria u have criminals and wicked people in government.the only way Dangote can stay in business is the way he is playing along. He can't fight and win the government .you know how the dysfunctional system works here |

All these pricing are based on a particular thing. The exchange rate. As it stands now, if any independent market can import petrol to meet the same pricing as NNPCL is claiming, them they can go ahead. But knowing the Nigerian government, there would be so many hitches and hindrances. The NNPCL is a fraudulent organization used as a tool against Nigerian. Let NNPCL stick with crude oil. Leave petrol to independent marketers. Let dangote set his price and all independent marketers go to him or source for their own petrol. Shikena. |

Dangote too is a fraud, I thought he claimed earlier the IPMAN doesn't want to lift his pms because it's cheap. Is what we have now cheap? I said it then that how come he doesn't want to disclose the cheap price he claimed. |

The price is actually lower than the cost of importation so it may not justify importation. |
| Re: N950/litre Dangote Petrol May Justify More Importation -marketers by Olaide1295: 12:13pm On Sep 17, 2024 |
Imported petrol cost per litre before subsidy: 1150 naira (or 0.8 dollars per litre). Dangote Petrol cost per litre before subsidy: 850 naira (or 0.55 dollars per litre). Yet, NNPC is happy to subsidize imported one and not the one produced locally (because they get kickbacks and bribes). That company is a crime scene. |

The corruption going on in NNPC is unspeakable. That's why they've been unable to get our local refineries running. They're too corrupt to get anything right. |
