South Africans need a combination of education and therapeutic counselling. They are still nursing the wounds of apartheid and see every successful and comfortable immigrant in their country as an extension of the 'visitors' that later took their lands and became their Lords and masters. The sustained damage to their psyche has made them to be easily inflamed and paranoidal coupled with their rabid hatred of fellow Africans. They really need help. |

WannaHowzit:The real question is with all these arrests why can't stats be compiled regarding this invasion of Nigerian drug dealers and published. Better yet why are there not a mass of deportations going on. Hmmmm ![]() |

Why did we even help these people to be free from their white apartheid masters? Are we not regretting this now? Maybe we should have left them in their chains ... Foolish people |

I often wonder why people are tribalists and racist, even our richest and greatest minds are covet racists. Elon Musk even dedicates his hours making sure migrants are not allowed into America without even spending a minute to think of the reason people will leave their home countries and take great risks just to live on another patch of earth. It is a shame. |

When it started some portion of Nigerians went and teamed up with South Africans on tiktok and other social media platforms calling On South Africans to chase people of Igbo extraction away from their country that they are hated both in Nigeria and abroad. I watched these several times and shaked my head. Now, Solarin as the name sound, is being treated like and outcast and no South African asked if she was from this tribe or the other. She even had to hid her identity to avoid being maltreated. I tell people that as you make your bed na so you go lie on it. The measure you dish at home is the measure others will use against you outside. When you openly show outsiders how to be tribalistic, and expect them to openly welcome you when you are outside, my dear, you must be the highest joker of the century. Government of Apc and it cohorts have divided Nigerians and openly marginalized a section of the country while many who should condemn it are clapping 👏 and cheering. They changed National Anthem it didn't work They now brought wrapper calling it National unity uniform and I repeat it won't work. Fuel God gave us for free, is what this APC has used to punish poor Nigerians by making the price go beyond the reach of the poor. There can never be peace in Nigeria without justice. Either Nigeria is divided or we adopt regional system of government if not, Nigerians should brace up for more hardship. |

God1000:You are sounding as if you're a stranger in Nigeria. Is worse treatment not meted to Nigerians by fellow Nigerians on account of tribe/ethnicity and religion? You forgot a number of people that were maimed and killed by yorubas because they resemble Igbos during an election when they perceived that their candidates would never win without wearing ethnic sentiments? And that's just one instance of xenophobia in Nigeria. South Africans are considerate and with human conscience, and I pray for their continued growth because they are still more human than most Nigerians calling them out and you talk about sanctioning them? From where please? Who are you as a country in Africa to sanction the almighty South Africa? I think we deceive ourselves too much ![]() |

Pennilessword1:What would they come to do in your shithole of a country? Are Nigerians not running to South Africa because of better living condition there? What would attract a sane human being to Nigeria where 99percent of her population is doing everything possible to escape the country including jumping through the Mediterranean sea? Guess some of you delude yourself that you have a country, pity |

Ashirioluwa:I heard that Nigeria was more great during the military era. Then, other African nations respected Nigeria a great deal. Now, politicians have ruined (and are still ruining) Nigeria, instead of making Nigeria greater. |

SUNNY OKOSUN, MAJEK FASHEK, RAS KIMONO, ETC ALL OF BLESSED MEMORIES WILL BE ROLLING IN THEIR GRAVE. They sang various anti apartheid songs that led to the fall of apartheid in south africa. Now the same blacks that Nigerian musicians fought for and the ones fighting against Nigerians living in their country. |

Nigerians being unnecessarily sentimental as usual! Chidimma Adetshina - is her Father Yoruba or Ibo? If he’s Yoruba then what part of Yorubaland do we find them adding a “t” in that name which we know is usually “Adeshina?” Which village is he from? And which Yoruba man married to a woman of different nationality will name his daughter “Chidinma?” when these two tribes are busy disturbing us with a stupid tribal war which belongs to the Stone Age daily in Nairaland? |

There should be an international petition against that Ex convict armed robber now minster of youths and sports in South Africa.. Gayton Mckenzie. A kind of petition that should be widely signed by international communities to expose the hate that man breeds against African migrants in South Africa. He is the face of Migrants hate and xenophobia. He once threatened to storm hospitals to stop treatment of Non - South Africans His claim to fame is Hate of African migrants. At every opportunity he has, he makes sure he says something hateful about African migrants in South Africa. Someome should lead this petition that should reach international govts in US, UK, France, Germany and other African countries. The guy in not human |

JaceBlaze:Dude, calling us xenophobic DOESN'T AFFECT US at all. You cant be a criminal and then turn back and avt like a victim. Al Jazeera and BBC aren't interviewing the South Africans who's identities were stolen and now their lives are stuck in limbo and are living in poverty as a result, while Chidimma is receiving crowns. |

JaceBlaze:It's Quanitaa Hunter from News24. What does she know about the lived experience of black South Africans. That was Aljazeeras first mistake. I lived in Hillbrow as a student and saw first hand how corrupt Nigerians are in SA. She lives in the suburbs. Nigerians here on Nairaland know they're corrupt as hell , they're just silent coz they want to infiltrate SA. We shouldn't allow it comrades. |

WannaHowzit:They are not allowed to live, work, settle, own businesses or marry anyone in Orania. They are allowed to visit. So basically they have been systematically sectioned out of Orania. Come to think of it the 'rhetoric" sounds very familiar as a general South African sentiment when it comes to the "outsider" |
