See The Giant Tubers Of Yam Harvested In Jos, Plateau State (photos) by Afonja101(op): 11:41am On Sep 18, 2024
I saw alot of people entering a compound this morning and shouting while I was fetching water, i thought something was happening, then i decided to peep... Lo and behold i saw tubers of yam i've never seen in my life. Everybody was struggling to snap it & alot of people attempted to buy them but couldn't because it was really above their capability due to how expensive it was... The lady was interviewed by some media organizations and she said she's really suprise about the harvest because she has never seen this kind of a thing. She even jokingly said maybe because she's a chosen and everybody laughed.

Tinubu provided fertilizers for our farmers thats why they are now reaping in abundance. Thanks to the Tinubu led agricultural initiative to empower our farmers and provide the necessary securities in the bushes.

Nice one

Hopefully price of yam will fall further

That season of 100 yams for 1 million naira must never be allowed to repeat itself

I am happy that more and more farmers are able to go to the farm now.

For those of you who go and hide in cities and hope that food is cheap after some people have sweated themselves out, I say continue.

Farmers also deserve a reward for their efforts

This one in the market would each up to 20k per tuber. Cos the regular average yam is around 5k.
