This is not a competition. You wouldn't want your wife backing a child and holding one or two kids trekking while you buy a car for your mother first. Whomsoever he chooses. It is his money. For me, your wife is the supposed jewel on your crown, part of you whom you have sworn to love and protect and there are better ways to honour your parents. Preserving their good name for one and exhibiting common sense and a positive lifestyle so people can praise them for a job well done. The smile on my late dad's face when he went for a function held at the Lagos Law School and was told how he should be proud at how I had led the students. Natbrowny:When striking balance, you excluded ur wife from above mentioned, because wife/husband is part and parcel of you. Not until people learn that wife/husband are one and not two, people would keep on suffer in marriage. Father, mother, sister, don daughter, all have their life to enjoy in their own WORLD and with their own PARTNERS wherever they find themselves.
