To tell you the truth, my Mom, is retired, she doesn't go anywhere important, while my girl (suppose she's my wife) reports to work at 8am and closes by 10:30pm. It would be stupid to buy a car for my mom (not saying it's a bad thing) when I can clearly see who needs it the most. Let's say we're married with 2 children, so me going early to work and she having to drop the kids and pick them up at school. She'll definitely need that car more than my mom. In actually saying, my father needs the car more than my mom, so even if am buying, it would be for my Dad. It's that simple. Just speaking for myself though. People often think that the love for a mother and the love for a wife overlaps, but it shouldn't because they are entirely different. If I have married her, then my wife gets a car first, but if she's still a girlfriend then my Mother, Father, Brothers and sisters get a car first. 1 Like |
