You can't get any brand new car for that amount. No thanks to our naira. Cos even though innoson assembles the car here in Nigeria, some of the components are imported.

The best way to test the strength (how long it can last before running down) of its battery is to use its mileage, not the number of days driven. The problem now is that most Nigerians cannot afford a brand new car...that's why we still buy tokunbo cars of over 15 years ago. Innoson needs to start setting up strategic locations where users can charge their EVs.

Where is the charging network across the country? Even in the developed world, charging network are still patchy in many areas.

The focus should be on gas which is readily available in large quantities.

Because Nigeria is not ready for a mass rollout of electric vehicles right now.

We don't produce enough electricity, and when even someone on another online fora was saying that for the UK to have a full rollout of EV they need to upgrade their grid...talkless Nigeria...it is going to take some time before we can see EV's more often on the street.

Not just that, there needs to be after sales service, and also we need a lot of mechanics to be trained in repair of EV.

Today, if you are driving a normal car, and your car breaks down on in a remote village in this country, there would always be someone , North or South, who knows how to 'do something' with a few tools. An EV would shock a lot of these people.
